When I get tired from walking and I want to sit down, I like to go to a café. The problem is when I went to a café 2-3 hours ago, I didn’t want another coffee. So in those situations, I am lucky when I can find a café that serves a little beer or a cocktail.
Right now I am in New Orleans, at a café I stumbled upon, besides the coffee menu they had a cocktail menu. I ordered a Bloody Mary. Actually, this was the first time I ordered a Bloody Mary and in my mind, I imagined a drink that had a celery stick in it. But this Bloody Mary had pickled okra and green beans.
Even though it is November, still New Orleans is 28º C, and the humidity is 80%, this sour drink is perfect for these days.
